There is something so luring and mysterious about a storm. Like a dark, tall man he will slowly walk towards you, and his eyes will lighten up in a thundering warning. I know I should run away, I know I should seek shelter… But no, I’m hexed and my feet are sinking into the sand.
The clouds are whispering their dark magic into my ears, while the nervous ocean is trying to wave me back from the beach. The water knows what is coming, and like a beaten animal the waves are fearing their master’s punishment. I am not the only one who is been bewitched; the dogs are also starring out into the lightening eyes of the storm.
Luckily for us, the Anda White Beach Resort was waiting right behind us with what was going to be our safe shelter that night. What a beautiful place! Earlier that day, I had completely fallen in love with their view: An infinity pool that takes you straight into the mouth of the ocean. A private paradise hidden away on the calmer side of Bohol. If this is your cup of tea, well, what are you waiting for?
Our time on this island was now over, and as we all know; chocolate helps all sorrows. Our stay at Bohol was completed therefore with some delicious chocolate tops. Bohol, it’s been a pleasure.
Quote Of The Day:
“Sorrows gather around great souls as storms do around mountains; but, like them, they break the storm and purify the air of the plain beneath them.”
– Jean Paul
