I’m walking. It’s past bedtime and I’m knackered. I’m walking down a recognisable street. With it’s royal palms ruling over me like tropical giants, my eyes are glowing from the goddess of the night; the moon. A white ray of light is shooting through the palm leaves and hits me straight in the heart. This is the street I walk every single day back from whatever life has taken me on. When the goddess of the day is smiling at me there is another distinctive sense that shoots straight down the root of my heart; The smell of juicy jasmine. It’s that smell that makes you go mmm-m-mmm. The smell, the sound, the view, the taste, and the feeling of this place is so… so welcoming…
My dear grandma would be shaking her head – I’m still that annoying kid who would make her blush like a mature tomato over saying hello to every single stranger. Nothing has changed; I talk with everyone. Naive? No, just curious and extrovert, I guess. San Francisco really makes you open for new elements of life. You suddenly say yes to things you never thought you would ever have the balls to accept, and you talk to people that you never thought would ever talk to you. Everything happens for a reason, they say. A big part of me believe this is true. Karma? Maybe… For some time ago I walked into Kit & Ace and the next day I was shooting with them. I love the randomness of how I meet so many amazing people in this city.
So here is a little taster of this delicious cashmere design.
