So while I’m doing my morning meditation (aka drinking coffee) I’m also getting ready to start packing for my biggest trip so far.By the way, my bra is from the lovely Allyson Filkins, you can find it here.
So, back to business: I’m going to Asia. “Where in Asia?”, you might ask, well, that is a bloody good question. Toby and I are leaving safe Europe to explore our relationship and patience in another more exotic and mysterious continent for 4 months. Do you think we will kill each other? Hm… Maybe.
What I really like about this trip and also maybe what I am the most nervous about is the fact that we have no clear plan. The only thing we have booked are the necessary flights (most of them at least), plus accommodation for our very first night. That’s it. We don’t know exactly when and where we’ll be the next 4 months, and we might get into serious trouble just because of this fearless lack of planning, but I truly believe that this will be a good lesson for me. I need to sometimes just let go of being in control and accept that I can’t plan everything in life. Being a good spontaneous decision maker is a vital skill in order to thrive in today’s society. The only thing we know for sure is that we have an outline that gives us guidelines of where approximately we will be located. What you see on the illustration underneath is our plan, nothing more.
You know as much as we do now about our trip. Excited? Well, I am! Redisanattitude.com will of course be with me the whole time. Wish me good luck, and let’s hope that Toby survives this experiment!
